There are 2 major tourist attractions housed in Pollok Country park, one being Pollok house, the ancestral home of the Maxwell Family. Built over a number of years by successive generations of the Maxwell Family. You can visit the home and view the wonderful collection of Spanish Artworks, the tearoom is a welcome stop following a long stroll through the park.
The Maxwell family also started the world renowned Burrell museum, An outstanding, unique formally private collection of world art, artefacts, and archaeological wonders from across the world.
